SMT prototyping board

Surface mourn technology (SMT) t° components have no wires, and are, therefore, not generally suitable for fitting on Veroboard or stripboard, the traditional cards used to build prototypes of electronic circuits.

The printed circuit board shown here is ideal for starting experiments with SMT components. It has four identical areas with isolated copper spots to accommodate the size of most SMDS (surface mount devices), including ICs. A border of larger copper spots is provided around the prototyping area to facilitate the connection of wires and external components to the board.
