Circuit Diagram For DC Motor Speed Control Using PWM
PWM duty cycle control techniques offer greater effectiveness and skillfulness of the brush-less DC motor to provide flexible control and novel cyclic operation also satisfactory and better protection schemes for the motor and control circuits.
Explanation -Circuit Diagram For DC Motor Speed Control Using PWM:
Pulse is an attack of voltage, electromagnetic wave, current energy. Width Modulation is a process in which we measure the frequency of wave in proper or adjusting manner. We can all so manage the speed of Direct-Current motor by using Pulse width modulation this circuit is very efficient. By using this circuit we can operate direct-current motor by using 555 timer IC (integrated circuit). 555 timer integrated circuit is only used is a stable condition. On this condition, with few adjustment in circuit we can used the pulse width modulator. A pretty cool circuit that allows you to control the speed of a DC motor of considerable size! Here are some simple steps to develop this environment.
Step 1: Install Jumper Cables
We will be needing a lot of jumper cables. I tend to install them first and later put in the components but you can go through it any way you desire just follow the given schematic. If you want, you can follow my way. Install the 555 IC on the breadboard
Step 2: More Jumpers
Step 3: Jumpers
Step 4: Install the two capacitors .01µF and diodes
Step 5: Install other remaining components as shown in the picture
Step 6: Video
PWM (Pulse width modulation): this is process in which we manage the amount of power we want to supply on load without any wasting of power. The above circuit can also use to manage the power of light emitting diode (LED) or power of fan or to dim the brightness of Direct-Current lamps. If we need to manage nicely then we need to use pulse width modulation.
