TDA7377 TONE CONTROLLED STEREO AMPLIFIER PROJECT SCHEMATIC CIRCUIT DIAGRAM

I believe the TDA7377 amplifier offers remarkable performance considering its cost, especially when integrated into a simple application shared by @gevv: the 2X30W Anfi Circuit with TDA7377.

The project incorporates a TL074 op-amp for tone control, and the DC rectification filter is present on the PCB. The voltage requirement ranges from a minimum of 8V DC to a maximum of 18V DC. A 12V AC output transformer with a capacity of 50 to 60W is suitable for this setup.

For the enclosure, I repurposed an old ATX power box, which proved to be highly convenient for this operation. The circuit fits inside most ATX power supply casings, albeit with some adjustments. I faced a challenge with cutting out the cooler, which didn’t quite fit. The transformer, salvaged from an old 5 + 1 system, delivers about 70-80W of power. The chassis needs to be connected to the designated spots on the box. I secured the bottom cable and the cable end using screws, as shown in the image. Depending on the pod’s height, the PCB can be directly connected to the screw holes.

Additionally, to achieve a stable volume level (set at medium volume) and adjust the treble, the capacitors connected to potentiometers can be placed under the PCB or isolated using sleeving, as demonstrated in the image.

The TDA7377 is a cutting-edge class AB car radio amplifier that can operate in either DUAL BRIDGE or QUAD SINGLE ENDED configuration. Its unique fully complementary output stage and internally fixed gain ensure outstanding power performance while minimizing component count. The built-in clip detector simplifies gain compression operations. Additionally, the fault diagnostics feature enables the detection of errors during car radio assembly and wiring in the vehicle.
